If there's one thing all our bestselling greeting cards have in common - it has to be the sentiment of thanks. So it's appropriate that our next giveaway is taking place so close to one of our favorite holidays of Thanksgiving. Not many associate thank you cards with Thanksgiving, but they go hand in hand. They both evoke warm feelings of remembrance, celebration and appreciation. While Thanksgiving isolates a day and kicks off the season of giving; a thank you card, on the other hand, can so simply express thanks any day we please and sometimes for no reason other than gratitude.

Cottonwood

One may have to admit that one was particularly swayed by one majestic cottonwood tree grove when out in Colorado last week. Felt a bit misty as I recalled seeing cottonwood trees for the first time and was so inspired by their amazing color that they became the namesake of one of our very favorite GPC Fall colors -- Cottonwood

While the trees haven't quite fully turned yet- it's just a matter of weeks (maybe days) and just the perfect time to stock up on Fall colors for Autumn invitations. Cottonwood paired with Goldenseal, Ash, Jack Pine or Balsam Fir make the perfect combination for a harvest gathering.

Inspired today by... (and our Giveaway Winners!)

While making a lovely Monday night dinner of curry a la Jamie Oliver (one of our favorite chefs) we were so struck by the incredible colors of all the spices, reminding us of spice markets visited in Paris. Really amazing to look at (and the smell is even better!)....

Friday Giveaway: GPC on Twitter!

First comes the blog.....then comes Twitter! At this year's National Stationery Show it was so apparent to us how valuable tweeting could be. Information on events, buyers and trends were passed back and forth with the #nss hash tag. We decided to take the plunge and began to tweet at the show.
